The setup is, ms Access 2003 is used as the frontend, with the use of VBA, tables are linked on the SQL Server 2000. Usual transactions are inporting a textfile to the SQL Server, using MS Access and SQL Server 2000, the transaction is smooth. No data is lost and there is no problem with connectivity.
But we migrated on MS Access 2007 and SQL Server 2010, and the problems with dropping connectivity is often experienced. The transactions on importing textfiles to SQL Server is problematic and connections are more often dropped.
Are there any issues on the MS Acess 2007 connecting to SQL Server 2010?
