Restore Over OR Delete and restore database ?

Hi,

We are going to restore the Production Database Backup to the Testing Environment.

We just wonder whether there is any difference between:

1) Restore the backup file over the existing Testing Database and

2) Delete the Testing Database and restore from Backup file ?
