Hi All,
I have couple of questions?
Question-1:
I need to know will running import/export wizard increase the T-log growth? OR will running simple select statement increase the T-log.
To my little knowledge data modification (insert, update, or delete) or data definition language (DDL) statements only increase the T-log how about import/export wizard or simple select statement..
Question-2:
Also what will happen inside simple recovery model when comparable to full recovery model ?
I assume the data is first written in T-log and once committed will move to mdf. In this scenario what will happen in simple and full recovery, how they differ from they differ from each other? Please help me to understand the internal architecture/inside oprations of recovery models...
Best Regards,
Moug
