Hi all
I'm just looking to clear something up regarding SQL startup, TEMPDB and its dependence on the Model database
I have a "non-default" TempDB - by this I mean that I have Moved it to a different drive, separate to the default system database drive, added extra files and changed the size of the files.
When SQL starts up, does it still rely on the Model database in this case?
The settings I have made to TempDB (size, files, location) - where is this info stored?
